Darrel Manlapig was associated with the Naval Petroleum Reserve No.1, Elk Hills field for 17 years, with experience in reserve evaluation and gas deliverability calculations. He was responsible for the management of three different reservoirs involving gas injection, water flooding, fracture stimulation, and horizontal drilling. Darrel has a B.S. in Mathematics from Central Oklahoma University. Now working as a RMOTC Project Manager, Darrel also coordinates the DOE’s Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship Intern Program at RMOTC.
